What I see in her work

Gauckler shows principles of art. The first principle she uses is harmony in her artwork because it gives an uncomplicated look and makes everything come together. Her artworks contain balance because the artwork has a symmetrical, asymmetrical, and radial feeling to it. What I mean to this is that there is not one element in the artwork that overpowers another elements. It has variety because it contains different types and forms of color, size, contrast and visual.  It Shows movement because the way she presents her artwork it a way that emphasize movement like a wave. She also shows movement through the use of line in her work.
I like her artwork a lot because it shows creativity and surrealism in her work. When I say this is that her art works looks like it came from a dream and was interpreted by a dream. Her works has a modern time feeling to it because of the graphics it shows and by the typography that she uses with it.  Her artwork has a representational feeling to it because the art she creates feels that it represents something without it showing what it really represents.  For example there is an image by Genevieve Gauckler that is a representational of a coke bottle that is in form of a tree and the message it was giving was to enjoy life like you would enjoy the taste of a coke.  This is an example of a representational abstract image where something is abstract but is noticeable.
The kind of art that she does has an advertisement feeling to it as well because it conveys a message and that it shows emotion and motion. For example this one picture also by Genevieve Gauckler and that it conveys a message and it shows emotion and motion at the same time. The picture shows a graphic feel to it as a two-dimensional feel to it but also has a three-dimensional feel to it as well. It conveys a message of traveling, safety, racing, music and life itself. It has a retro feel to it based on the color and based on its texture, shapes, and form.
Genevieve Gauckler creates art that blends them into everyday life scenes and turns the fantastical world into reality and has a taste for simple color and shapes that create images and shapes with emotion and innocence. She gets her inspiration from her past history and works including her education to help her come up with new ideas for her artworks or for her many other works such as videos, books, and even for magazines. She uses her ideas to create creative art that blends in with society and tells a story.
